Darryl F. Zanuck personally owned copy of the book "Noah's Ark", Grosset & Dunlap: New York: 1928. Book, novelized by Arline DeHaas, is adapted from the film Zanuck wrote and produced for Warner Brothers in 1928. Zanuck's story juxtaposes the Biblical flood tale with a WWI scenario. Book is photo illustrated with stills from the successful picture. Runs 276pp., bound in deep red cloth boards with black lettering. Accompanied by one of Zanuck's own custom green and black bookplates. Book measures 5.25" x 7.75". Faint toning and a minor scratch to the front board. Near fine. Bookplate measures 4" x 5.5". Chip to lower left corner, else near fine.
