Two-piece costume for Alan Hale in the 13th century period piece, "Marco Polo". Hale stars in the 1938 action film as Kaidu. Comprises: (1) a long men's skirt in burgundy leather with chevron stitching by United Costumers with "Alan Hale" written on the label. With metal hook and eye closures, (2) burgundy fabric jacket with short sleeves by Associated Costume. Jacket features gold striping across the chest; closes with metal buttons to upper portion and snap closures to lower portion. Wear to garments from use and age, especially to leather. In good condition overall.
