Mid-1800's Mexican short sword. Brass grip marked with two hallmarks and maker's mark, ''Joestt.'' Sword measures 29'' with a 23'' blade. Wear to blade and mild overall oxidation, otherwise a fine piece of Mexican military history in very good condition.
