Neil Armstrong high school yearbook from his senior year in 1947 at his Ohio alma mater. The future astronaut wears an intriguing expression in his graduation portrait on p. 12. Beside his name is the prophetic quote ''He thinks, he acts, 'tis done.'' His list of school activities is impressive; he's Vice President of Student Council and Band and is pictured with the band on p. 44 and 45. Other photos include: p. 52 in the Senior Hi-Y YMCA Club, p. 63 in the senior play, p. 57 on the School Council and p. 70 in the Boosters Club. Yearbook runs 88pp. and measures 7.75'' x 10.75''. Bound in mint green faux-leather boards. Minor denting to spine near the top, with prior owner's signature to front free endpaper. Very good.
