Neil Armstrong autograph letter signed. Just months after Apollo 11, the first man to walk on the moon's surface writes on NASA stationery, in full: ''Dear Friends, Finally received your kind note & the clippings from my parents when I saw them in Indiana last week. Appreciated all the prayers & good wishes, they must have helped. All the best in 1970. Sincerely, Neil Armstrong''. 1pp. measures 5.25'' x 9.5''. Letter has been taped to another sheet of paper that has been folded card-style, though can be expertly removed. Some toning and tape residue along margins; very good condition.
