Unique textile Declaration of Independence from the 1876 centennial. Made in Pennsylvania, piece prominently features the Liberty Bell at top where eagles are typically displayed and includes the Bible quote "Proclaim Liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof." The Declaration is presented in full with signatures to the right of the text. Both are bordered in red by thirteen state crests and their symbols, along with banners of prominent men such as Washington, Lafayette and Ethan Allen. Cloth Declaration measures 24.5" x 20", with staining in spots, particularly to signatures and left lower edge, along with fraying around edges. Good condition.
