Louis Pasteur autograph letter signed by the French chemist. This brief one page letter to a colleague is written in French, dated 29 June 1866. Measures 4'' x 5.25''. Framed with a black and white print from the 1885 Albert Edelfelt painting showing Pasteur intensely staring at a glass vial in his laboratory. Measures 6'' x 7.25''. Mounted with white cloth matte in an ornate golden frame for an overall size of 19'' x 14.75''. Folds to letter, else near fine.
