President William Taft document signed with blue naval seal. Official order appoints John E. Burger as Machinist to the U.S. Navy dated 28 June 1912. With printed ''President of the United States of America'' atop an eagle at sea, and naval flags and images below. 1pp. measures 15.75'' x 19.75''. Glue residue along edges from previous framing, closed tear at top and block of toning. Very good condition.
