Britney Spears custom-made dress worn at the 28th annual American Music Awards, held on 8 January 2001. At the time, Spears was dating fellow pop icon Justin Timberlake, and the two walked the red carpet in coordinated outfits, both made of denim. Long bustier-cut denim dress is sewn together in patchwork strips with an unfinished hem, and laces up the back with a detachable train that snaps off at back. Dress is framed in a large ''Weidman Gallery'' brand silver shadow box lined with navy blue fabric and depicting a photo and brass plaque reading: ''Dress Worn By Britney Spears at 28th Annual American Music Awards / January 8, 2001''. Framed to a size of approximately 50'' x 67'' and 4'' deep. With an LOA by The Britney Spears Foundation. Near fine.
