Mary Pickford typed letter signed. Dated 23 September 1933, letter upon her studio's stationery reads in full, ''Dear Mr. Row: Thank you for your letter in regard to the article in Liberty. I am so glad that you liked it and deeply grateful if it has been of any help. With appreciation of your thought of me and every good wish, I am / Sincerely yours, [signed] Mary Pickford''. The article to which she refers appeared in the 26 August 1933 issue of ''Liberty'' magazine, titled ''Why I Can be Happy in Spite of it All''. This would later become her popular book, ''Why Not Try God?''. Letter is beautifully matted in grey and white. Viewable area measures 6.25'' x 9''. Framed beside a decorative image of Pickford highlighted in gold to an overall size of 18.5'' x 13.5''. Near fine.
