Tiger puppet from the set of Captain Kangaroo. Charming puppet by Steiff brand toys is made of fuzzy fabric with a tiger print back and plain belly. Head is detailed with green eyes, pink embroidered nose and transparent whiskers, with blush detail to inside of ears. Hand puppet fits the hand with hollow front legs and a finger-size notch inside to manipulate the head from within. Its companions, the iconic Mister Moose and Bunny Rabbit puppets currently reside in the Smithsonian. Measures 8.5'' from paw to paw and 8.5'' from top of ears to the cuff. Steiff tag has been removed from the ear. Fine.
