Bob Keeshan screen-worn clown costume from his Captain Kangaroo show. Keeshan began his career in the late 1940's as Clarabell the Clown on the ''Howdy Doody Show.'' This three piece lot includes: colorful Scottish plaid wool vest with gold buttons and green silk backing; brown and orange hoop pants with red elastic suspenders and Bob Keeshan costume label (size 52/29); and yellow and purple leather clown shoes with ''BK'' on the soles (measures 16.5''). Scuffing to shoes, else near fine.
