Robert Keeshan owned Chelsea Ship's Bell clock. Finely crafted timepiece was likely gifted to Keeshan as these prestigious clocks were a popular choice for awards and gifts among public figures in the postwar era. Chelsea is the oldest clockmaker in the United States. Brass-framed glass crystal opens on a hinge. Verso is engraved with serial number ''815877 / 54-2-218''. Measures 5.5'' in diameter. The usual wooden base is absent, else near fine.
