Book publisher letter to Bob Keeshan informing him that the famed author and illustrator Maurice Sendak has agreed to work with him. Typed Harper & Brothers letter dated 29 May 1962 reads in part ''...Maurice Sendak has agreed to illustrate your 'She Loves Me...She Loves Me Not...''' The letter then ends with a bit of literary advice reading in part, ''...The ending is somehow not completely satisfactory, and I wonder if you will try to improve it...there ought to be some better way to finish the book...'' Single-page on Harper & Brothers stationery measures 6.25'' x 9.5''. Near fine.
