24 November 1963 edition of the ''Dallas Morning News'' announcing plans for Kennedy's burial and reporting on Johnson taking the oath of office after receiving counsel from former presidents Eisenhower and Truman, with an ''LBJ Takes Over Government Reins'' headline. Another front-page article reports the official Soviet news agency accusing Dallas police of attempting to implicate the Communist party in the assassination. Sunday paper runs 42pp. in total, and includes sections 1-3 as well as the book review insert. Right edge of p.1 is lightly tattered with chipping in a couple spots. Another 1'' tear and minor tattering at fold and a 3'' tear at top bisecting paper's name. Good to very good condition.
