Invitation from the President and Mrs. Roosevelt to a ''reception to be held at The White House'' on 23 January 1908. The 5.5'' x 4.5'' invitation card with gilt embossed Presidential seal is addressed to a Miss Cora Sayer, in care of J.P. Megrew, a captain with the Capitol police. Lot includes an envelope addressed to Miss Sayer, also embossed with the Presidential seal, and the mailing envelope with the White House return address. Minor soiling, very good.
