Warren Harding autograph letter signed as President, dated 14 June 1921. One page letter on official White House stationery recommends a Mr. Carpenter for a position and is signed, ''Warren G. Harding''. Some dampstaining darkening at center crease, otherwise very good. Harding writes this letter of recommendation early in his administration. A note at the bottom in a different hand indicates that the letter ''refers to W.J. Howell, Prospect.'' Autograph letters dating from Harding's presidency are rare.
