Stunning photo of Greta Garbo by Clarence Sinclair Bull. A backstamp on verso reads: ''Kindly Credit - Photo By / CLARENCE SINCLAIR BULL / No. 815 x 133''. The Swedish star poses in profile for this portrait by Bull, who worked as Head Stills photographer for MGM at the height of the Hollywood Golden Age. Garbo was awarded an honorary Oscar in 1954 ''for her luminous and unforgettable screen performances''. Included in the lot is a second image of Garbo, possibly also by Bull, though it lacks the backstamp. Both photos are semi-matte and measure 10'' x 13''. ''Garbo'' is written in pencil to verso of each. Minor creasing around the border and light surface impressions with toning to verso, else fine.
