Fedora worn onscreen in ''The Godfather'' by John Cazale as Fredo Corleone. Cazale dons the grey hat in Marlon Brando's death scene, among others. Francis Ford Coppola's mafia masterpiece was released in 1972 and won the Academy Award for Best Picture. This hat bears the label of legendary Hollywood costumer Western Costume Co., with ''J. Cazale'' handwritten in black on the interior hatband. Cazale's career, though brief, was exceptional, with all five of his films nominated for Best Picture. His sudden death of lung cancer left behind fiancee Meryl Streep. Fedora is size 7 3/8. Near fine. With provenance from Profiles in History.
