Liza Minnelli's official 1981 Golden Globe nomination for best actress in a comedy or musical for her performance opposite Dudley Moore in the 1981 hit comedy, "Arthur." The nomination from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association reads in part: "…Be it known that Liza Minnelli was nominated for a Golden Globe Award of Merit for Outstanding Achievement Best Motion Picture Actress -- Comedy or Musical / Arthur…" With the blindstamped seal of the Foreign Press Association at lower right. Though Minnelli lost to Bernadette Peters for her role in "Pennies From Heaven" at the 1982 Golden Globe Awards, she remained the "Queen of Broadway" earning various coveted roles, including the successful sequel to this film. Award certificate on parchment paper measures 11" x 8.5" with very minor toning along edges, else near fine condition.
