Dwight Eisenhower signs ''Ike'' in black marker to a typed letter dated 29 December 1962 on his personal gilt-monogrammed stationery. Letter to his brother Edgar reads, ''...I already have a number of copies of old books on tactics; the addition of any more would just merely assure that they end up at the Abilene Library...'' A copy of Edgar's letter regarding buying books is included. Measures 7'' x 10.5''. Punch holes and standard folds, else near fine.
