Dwight Eisenhower signs ''Ike'' in black marker to a typed letter datelined Palm Desert, California, 27 February 1961 on his personal stationery to his brother Edgar: ''...Our Gettysburg property...has been run completely as a residence...I hope to become one of the minor partners in a cattle raising venture...'' He actually did, and cattle are still raised on the property, now the Eisenhower National Historic Site. Measures 7.25'' x 10.5''. Punch holes for filing and standard mailing folds with small stain to top fold line, else near fine.
