John Cullen Murphy original artwork for the ''Prince Valiant'' Sunday comic strip, #1852 in the series published 6 August 1972. Drawn in ink over graphite, with some red key lines and blue editorial notes, on three sections of illustration board, conjoined on verso to measure approximately 17.5'' x 25.375''. Paste-up of logo and lettering. Light wear, overall in very good condition. From the John Cullen Murphy estate.
