John Adams receipt signed with his full name, ''John Adams'', accounting for $150.00 received from a Mr. Breisler on 31 December 1813 in Quincy, Massachusetts. At this time, Adams was 78 and had recently renewed his friendship with Thomas Jefferson. Slip measures 1.5'' x 5'', framed with a portrait of Adams to 13.5'' x 17.75''. Not examined out of frame. Foxing, but clear and legible in very good condition.
