NCAA national championship wristwatch won by UCLA forward and NBA Hall of Fame basketball player Jamaal Wilkes in 1972. Led by coaching great John Wooden, UCLA won its sixth straight championship that year with Wilkes anchoring a squad that also included NBA great Bill Walton. Known for his defensive prowess, solid rebounding skills and deadly jump shot, Wilkes won four NBA championship rings in a career that spanned from 1975 to 1984. A member of the famous ''Showtime'' Los Angeles Lakers squad of the early 1980's, Wilkes had his number retired by the Lakers on 28 December 2012, and subsequently by UCLA on 17 January 2013. The Bulova watch features a 10kt gold plated back with a heavy gold electroplate bezel and white face. The brown band is made of turtle leather, and has ''R 11/16'' and ''Accutron'' stamped to the inside. Watchface reads: ''Accutron / 1972 National Basketball Champion / NCAA''. Accompanied by its original mustard felt display mount. Watchband measures 9'' long including buckle, with the face measuring 1.25'' in diameter. Near fine. With a COA from Jamaal Wilkes.
