Salinger signed receipt from his local bookstore in Hanover, New Hampshire, showing that Salinger bought ''Dream Catcher'', the book authored by his daughter Margaret Salinger which was highly critical of him as a father and husband. Receipt is dated 26 September 2001, shortly after the book's publication, and also identifies Salinger as a bookclub member of the store. Signed at bottom by Salinger, receipt also lists the other titles purchased, including ''Selected Stories'', and likely ''Impressions of Africa''. Receipt measures 2.75'' x 8''. Near fine condition.
