Nice presentation signed by the Iwo Jima flag raisers: ''Ira H. Hayes'', ''Rene A. Gagnon'' and ''John H. Bradley'', as well as by the photographer who documented the flag raising atop Mt. Suribachi, ''Joe Rosenthal''. The men sign on a sheet of stamps commemorating the historic flag raising, the culmination of a month's long battle which gave the Allied forces a beachhead on the Japanese island of Iwo Jima. Sheet measures 10.25'' x 9''. Near fine condition.
