Lot of mementos from the 19 January 1949 inaugural dinner of Harry Truman, including: (1) Invitation to the dinner at the Mayflower. Measures 7'' x 9.5''; (2) Dinner program, with a red, white and blue cloth tassle on the spine. Measures 8.5'' x 11''; (3) Two copies of the booklet listing guests and seating assignments. Measures 5.75'' x 9''; (4) Seating card for ''Table 302'', measuring 6.5'' x 4.5''; (5) Two tickets to the dinner, measuring 3.5'' x 4.5'', with perforated upper right corner removed. Slight tearing to cover of program, and toning throughout. Stains to table card. Very good overall.
