George Custer signed envelope, made out in Custer's hand to his wife ''Mrs. Genl Custer''. Envelope sent to his wife in Ft. Riley, KS. Envelope has original 3-cent stamp affixed to upper right corner. Postmark bears the city of Fort Larned, KS, dated 10 April 1867. Envelope measures 5.25'' x 3.25'' with tearing to left edge from opening. Very good.
