Flown map from the Gemini 5 mission, personally owned by Pilot Pete Conrad, Jr. Double-sided map shows parts of the Texan cities of Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin and Waco, used by Conrad and fellow astronaut Gordon Cooper to ''help us figure out where we were in the world as we discussed the visual acuity experiments'', according to a letter from Conrad to the consignor. Map comprises pages 20-21 of the aeronautical chart book (P/N AF 65007), consigned by Conrad to Odyssey Auctions 27 February 1994 sale, lot 176. Color map measures 10'' x 8''. File holes along edge for inclusion in book. Light wear, overall near fine condition. With an LOA from the consignor.
