First edition, first printing of ''The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test'' by Tom Wolfe, the non-fiction publication that ignited the New Journalism of the 1960s. New York: Farrar Straus and Giroux, 1968. Bound in white boards with orange endpapers and rainbow lettering on the spine, housed in original dust jacket showing $5.95 price. Measures 6'' x 8.5''. Previous owner's name written to front free endpaper, staple puncture to rear free endpaper and toning to last few pages. Overall book is in very good plus condition. Dust jacket is very good to near fine, with a bit of chipping at top of spine.
