Complete premiere issue of ''Playboy'' magazine from December 1953. Marilyn Monroe graces the cover and full color centerfold of this Volume 1, No. 1 as ''Sweetheart of the Month''. All points of authenticity are present including black square printed to upper right corner of front cover and a two-staple binding. 42pp. magazine measures 8.5'' x 11''. Vertical crease, and some additional creasing throughout, along with light toning to covers. Approximate one inch closed tear to back cover. Staples remain intact. Overall in very good condition.
