FDC is signed by Paul Tibbets, Dutch Van Kirk, George Caron, Morris Jeppson and Richard Nelson who took part in the Enola Gay mission over Hiroshima, as well as Charles Sweeney, Fred Olivi and Fredrick Ashworth who flew on the Bocks Car mission over Nagasaki. Cover commemorates the Wright Brothers first flight, postmarked from ''Kitty Hawk, N.C.'' on 17 December 1949. Measures 6.5'' x 3.25''. Near fine condition.
