Roosevelt writes to a Mrs. Garrigue, the operator of a nursery in nearby Poughkeepsie, NY, ''Dear Mrs. Garrigue / Thank you for writing me about the Council's contribution. I am sure it was greatly appreciated. With all good wishes, I am / Very sincerely yours / [signed] Eleanor Roosevelt''. Measures 6'' x 7''. Block of toning at bottom and folds, else near fine.
