Acclaimed Hollywood costume designer Edith Head costume sketch for Joanne Woodward. The 8-time Oscar winner draws a podwer blue three-quarter length dress with half sleeves and bow over the shoulder. Sketch is labeled by Head, ''Woodward mirrors / 2nd paris outfit / no cape or cover.'' in pencil to the upper left. Edith Head won more Academy Awards than any other woman in history for her costume designs. Single-page drawing measures 13.25'' x 17''. Some buckling, creasing and light wear, else near fine.
