Duchess of Windsor personally owned fob watch. Luxury Swiss Cord spherical watch is inscribed on the bezel, ''Wallis Easter 28-III-37 David'' as the couple was forced to spend Easter of 1937 apart before reuniting and marrying that May, after Edward's controversial abdication from the throne. Watch face and verso are both convex, creating a spherical effect. Measures 1'' in diameter. Some minor tarnishing, else very good condition. Provenance from the 1987 Sotheby's ''Jewels of the Duchess of Windsor'' auction held on 3 April 1987 in Geneva, lot 249.
