''Blondie'' Sunday comic strip hand-drawn and signed by Chic Young published on 13 December 1964. In this running gag, Blondie's friends see Dagwood buy a seductive negligee, not knowing that Mr. Dithers asked him to buy it for his secretary. Expecting the pretty gift for herself, Dagwood buys Blondie a new ironing board instead, which she uses to violent effect. Titled ''Sweet Wife''. Strip measures 19.375'' x 17.25'' in two pieces, as drawn. Very good plus condition. From the Chic Young estate.
