''Blondie'' comic strip hand-drawn and signed by Chic Young from 19 February 1932, with the exciting news that Dagwood and Blondie have consent to marry. Dagwood is so excited that he falls over the couch, astonishing Blondie. Titled ''A Dizzy Whirl'' on verso, which also shows stamps from ''LIFE'' magazine, indicating the strip was used in its 17 August 1942 issue. Measures 21.375'' x 5.375''. Minor toning and discoloration. Chip to lower left margin and pinholes to corners, overall in very good condition. From the Chic Young estate.
