Autograph letter signed and two signed photos by Ron McNair, the NASA astronaut who tragically died in the Challenger mission. The touching letter by McNair, undated but circa 1982 on NASA stationery, reads in full, ''Dear Gina, The word about your outstanding achievements gets around. I wish you the best as you continue to excel, persevere, and be somebody. / Where are you attending college? What is your major? What is your ambition? / Ron McNair / NASA Astronaut''. Letter measures 5.25'' x 8''; near fine. Two 8'' x 10'' photos signed by McNair are also included, each inscribed to Gina. Very good plus condition.
