This is number 638 of an edition ''limited to 950 numbered copies for private distribution to friends of the publisher''. Tome is a compilation of Sandburg's two earlier books, ''Chicago Poems'' and ''Cornhuskers''. Photo-illustrated book runs 265pp. Bound in flaxen cloth boards with gilt lettering and design. Top edge red. Accompanied by paperboard slipcase in fair condition. Measures 5.5'' x 8.25''. Book has very minor foxing to edges, else fine.
