Abraham Lincoln bronze plaque from 1907 sculpted by Victor David Brenner, whose image of the President presented here was used on the penny released in 1909. Done in bas-relief, plaque shows the right profile of Lincoln with ''ABRAHAM LINCOLN / ** 1809*1865 **'' engraved below. To the right reads ''Copyright 1907 by V.D. Brenner'' also with a 1907 dated monogram. Engraving on the rim reads ''S. Klaber & Co. / Founders, N.Y.'' as required. Plaque measures 7'' x 9.5'' x .5'', with apparatus on the back for either wall mounting or standing. Weighs 2 lbs., 7 oz. Stand on back is slightly crooked, though the plaque still stands upright perfectly. Plaque bears a chocolate patina, in near fine condition.
