Babe Ruth signed ad copy for the first episode of ''The Colgate Sports Newsreel'' from 8 October 1939, hosted by Bill Stern. On ad agency Benton & Bowles stationery, document is signed in pencil, ''Babe Ruth'' at top. Copy notes that ''Babe Ruth is here, too - to give us some of his own World Series experiences.'' Page measures 8.5'' x 11'', archivally taped on verso to blue mat board. Three hole punch and light creasing, overall in very good plus condition.
