NASA ''Blue Marble'' photo from the Apollo 17 mission, showing, for the first time, the Earth fully illuminated from space. It's the most popular photo of the Apollo space program. Encapsulated by PSA as a Type I photo from 1972, with NASA press release on verso, identified as photo number AS17-148-22727 and printed on ''A Kodak Paper''. Photo measures 8'' x 10'', encapsulated to 13.25'' x 9.75''. Minor toning, overall very good to near fine condition.
