Amelia Earhart signed first edition of ''20 Hrs. 40 Mins.'', Earhart's account of her gender breaking flight across the Atlantic Ocean in 1928. New York: G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1928 second printing. Signed by Earthart in fountain pen on the front free endpaper, ''Amelia M. Earhart''. Volume is full of photographs documenting Earhart's flight, including some taken en route from her aircraft ''Friendship''. Book runs 314pp. and measures 5.5'' x 8.25''. Bound in publishers maroon boards with gilt lettering, with illustrated endpapers. Some shelf wear including fraying to top of spine and bumping to corners. Separation starting at front hinge and light soiling to signature page. Good plus condition.
