Race-car driver helmet used in production of 2006 Will Ferrell/Adam McKay comedy, ''Talladega Nights''. Blue helmet's applied design motif matches Will Ferrell's ensemble as a NASCAR champion sponsored by Wonderbread. Helmet was likely worn by someone on Ferrell's pit crew or by Ferrell or his doubles at a distance, since his character's name does not appear on this helmet as it does in close-up shots of him in costume. Actual Bell brand auto racing helmet is well-ventilated and cushioned. Measures 13'' x 11'' x 9''. Very discreet chip to shell finish near the rim on the right and a tiny chip near the crown. Near fine.
