Large publicity book for ''Star Wars'', given to reporters and theatre owners to promote the 1977 space opera. Measuring 14'' x 11'', the book runs 24pp. plus covers, with photos of the cast and set, a brief synopsis of the film, cast credits and information about George Lucas, with a short letter from the Director: ''...I'm trying to reconstruct a genre that's been lost and bring it to a new dimension so that the elements of space, fantasy, adventure, suspense and fun all work and feed off each other...'' To that we say, mission accomplished! Heavy creasing to cover spine, which has separated from the staples connecting the other pages. Overall in very good condition.
