National Association of Television & Radio Announcers ''Golden Television Award'' trophy honoring ''Mission Impossible''. Bruce Gellar's successful TV series ran from 1966-1973 and earned this award in 1969. Rare vintage trophy features an announcer's microphone encircled by a trio of linked rings held atop a double-handled bowl on a decorated stem. Figure rests on a wooden base, which bears a plaque identifying the award and bearing a 16 August 1969 date and location of Washington, D.C. Measures 17'' in height, with the bottom of the base measuring 5.75'' square. Weighs 4 pounds. Chipping to the finish on the microphone, some tarnishing to the bowl and handles and figure swivels, else near fine.
