William Taft typed letter signed on personal stationery, dated 15 January 1914, from New Haven, Connecticut, where he was teaching law at Yale. Taft replies to Edward Bok, ''Ladies Home Journal'' editor, about an article Taft is to submit. The letter reads in part: ''...I shall do the best I can to give you the article you ask by the 7th of February...Sincerely yours...Wm. H. Taft''. Minor soiling to single page card style letter, measuring 7'' x 9.25''. Very good condition.
