Texas figure William Barret Travis document signed ''W. Barret Travis''. Handwritten document is dated 15 October 1833, just three years before Travis' death in the Battle of the Alamo. Document serves as an inventory of the estate of one William Robinson, itemizing debts, land deeds, letters and the like. Travis signs as a witness. Document is countersigned by seven additional people. Expertly silked with light to moderate bleedthrough. Runs 2pp. Measures 7.75'' x 12.75''. Slightly irregular edges, else near fine given age.
