Malcolm X autograph letter signed from 19 May 1964 in Casablanca, signed with his full Muslim name and very rare as such. Malcolm X writes on a postcard to Gloria Owens during his tour of Mecca and Africa, ''Greetings from beautiful Casablanca. Should be home this week. el-Hajj Malik el-Shabazz''. On this 19th day of May, Malcolm X turned 39 and a warrant was issued for his arrest for a speeding ticket in New York. Within a year, he would be assassinated by members of the Nation of Islam, which he left in March 1964. Postcard measures 5.75'' x 4''. Very good plus condition.
